There’ll be a film festival in Sydney and pop-up stores around the world this week to celebrate the release of Arctic Monkeys‘ new album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino on May 11th.
Stores in Sheffield, New York City, Paris, Berlin and Tokyo will offer unique, limited album and merchandise items on release day, while Sydney-based fans get the same treatment as well as the chance to watch a selection of the band’s favourite films at the Golden Age Cinema And Bar this Friday and Saturday.
Arctic Monkeys made their live comeback in San Diego last week, giving fans the first opportunity to hear new material from Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. After a show in Brooklyn tomorrow night, there’s a break until later this month when the European leg starts in Berlin.
