The many goodies packed into the vinyl edition of Lazaretto proved to be one of that album’s most memorable features, and it’s a legacy which has continued on to Jack White‘s follow-up Boarding House Reach.
The White Stripes man’s third solo record has gone to number one in the US thanks in no small part to vinyl sales of 27,000, reports Nielsen, a figure comfortably ahead of those garnered by the States’ previous chart-topper, rapper XXXTentacion.
White visited studios in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville during the recording of Boarding House Reach, and will be racking up the miles again once his world tour starts in Detroit on April 19th.
