Tickets for The Rolling Stones‘ UK and Ireland stadium shows have gone on sale today.

The Stones added a third date in London to their itinerary yesterday, bringing the total number of outdoor UK concerts to six, while an appearance at Croke Park in Dublin will kick everything off on May 17th.

This tour is one promised by the band when last year’s European run failed to include any UK gigs, apparently because of ‘a lack of available venues’.

By the time they arrive, we might know a little bit more about the new album which Keith Richards discussed last year with Ultimate Classic Rock. “Yes, yes, we are — very, very shortly,” he said of their recording plans.

“Cutting some new stuff and considering where to take it next. Blue & Lonesome caught us a little bit by surprise in that we figured it was something we had to do, but we didn’t expect the response.”
