The UK run that started in Aberdeen last month has been pleasingly free from the gig cancellations which were once again part of Morrissey‘s North American tour during the latter part of 2017.

The penultimate gig, and third of four London shows, took place at the Alexandra Palace in London last night. Alberto Pezzali has Live4ever’s exclusive gallery.

Morrissey has been on the road supporting his latest solo album Low In High-School, recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France and Ennio Morricone’s Forum Studios in Rome with producer Joe Chiccarelli. After leaving Harvest soon after World Peace Is None Of Your Business, this LP was released on his own newly formed label Etienne Records in conjunction with BMG. “There are not many artists around today that can compare to Morrissey,” Korda Marshall, their executive vice President, said.

“He is an extraordinary talent. He is prodigious, literate, witty, elegant and above all, courageous. His lyrics, humour and melodies have influenced many generations. The music on this new landmark record will speak for itself and we are delighted to welcome him to BMG.”

The UK tour concludes at the London Palladium tonight.
