The Courteeners will warm-up for their period marking ten years of debut album St. Jude with gigs in Blackburn and Sheffield.
Fine tuning takes place at King Georges Hall in Blackburn on March 21st before St.Jude is performed in full at the Teenage Cancer Trust concert series two days later. “It’s a great honour and privilege to perform for such a brilliant charity at such a legendary venue,” frontman Liam Fray has said of this particular show.
“This will be the first and last time we’ll ever perform our debut album ‘St Jude’ in full in London and we’re really pleased to be doing it for a such a great cause.”
And after a short break there’ll be a chance to prepare properly for the Manchester Arena show at Sheffield’s O2 Academy on April 5th.
Also on the band’s itinerary is an appearance at the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington this coming May.
