Teleman stream Warm Digits remix of Repeater

Teleman

If five different producers working on five separate tracks wasn’t enough, Teleman have invited Warm Digits to remix the Oliver Bayston version of Repeater which features on their recent EP Fünf.

“When we’re doing a remix we always listen for what we can imagine hearing through cracks in the original,” Warm Digits explain. “Here we were trying to channel the early-80s no-wave era disco of Yoko Ono and mix it with our shoegaze guitar and cowbell onslaught. We hope it’s a rush of energy that rips through your speakers.”

The EP was released last month, and described by Live4ever as ‘an interesting detour‘:

“These elements; elevation, stripping back, space and the sweetness of release, all snap together on Nights On Earth, not dance music, not house, not disco, not soul, just a tenderness conveyed best by its astute layering, a rarified zone in which our inner dancefloors are pried open and from which Hot Chip sprang what seems like a million years ago.”
