This Feeling Alive Tour: Spotlight on Proletariat. @ Manchester Academy

IMG 7396

Proletariat. join up with the This Feeling Alive tour tonight in their hometown of Manchester, playing the city’s Academy venue.

They’re the latest band to have a quick chat with Live4ever ahead of performances backing regular headliners The Shimmer Band, Bang Bang Romeo and BlackWaters.

Proletariat.

Most memorable experience with This Feeling so far?

As a music fan, watching Trampolene headline the Friday at Leeds Festival last year. The zone was unreal, each and every person all in unison, and Jack and co. were on top form as usual. But as a performer, getting the news we were playing Y Not Festival, sadly it got cancelled on the day we were supposed to perform, but getting the news was a dream come true – that’s the feeling of magic that Mikey and This Feeling give bands. That’s what it’s all about.

Favourite live venue?

Night & Day in Manchester: we’ve played there four times and each time has been an experience to remember. With the arsenal of truly great bands that’ve played there over the years it’s truly an honour to say we’ve performed on the stage.

One essential item on the tour rider?

A frontman who can sing.

TV in a hotel room – watch it or throw it?

It’d have to be throw – after seeing the likes of Carl Barat, Slaves etc give it ago we’d love to see how we’d match up.

One song from any of the other bands everyone should check out:
