Teleman unveil Repeater as latest track from new EP Fünf

Teleman

Teleman‘s new EP Fünf – their first collection of new material since last year’s Brilliant Sanity album – is set for release on November 17th, and they’ve now unveiled a second track from it.

Five different producers have worked on a track each; for Repeater that individual was Boxed In’s Oliver Bayston. The band reflect:

“The track Repeater which was produced by Oliver Bayston came together really quickly, we just set up and bashed it out. Oli has an uncanny ability to make things sound kind of unhinged and mental while also making sure it’s all locked in and hitting hard. This came out sounding exactly as we wanted it to; wild and upbeat but kind of wrong.”

Of the EP as a whole, they continue: “It was kind of tricky cos just as we were settling into the process it was time to up and off to another studio to meet the next guy. But mostly it was a great experience, we all enjoyed it a lot.”

“The producers we worked with came mostly from dance backgrounds and some had never recorded a band before, so we were all pushed out of our comfort zones a bit which was great. All said and done, it still sounds like Teleman but each song has a different flavour which is what we were hoping for.”
