David Bowie’s celebrated Berlin Trilogy period next up in reissue series

David Bowie 1

The third phase of David Bowie reissues which began in 2015 will bring his Berlin Trilogy period into the series on September 29th.

Just like its predecessors David Bowie Five Years (1969-1973) and David Bowie Who Can I Be Now? (1974-1976), David Bowie A New Career in a New Town (1977-1982) will be a thoroughly comprehensive journey through this period of the late icon’s life for fans, with the 11CD and 13LP sets headlined by the famous triumvirate of Low, “Heroes” and Lodger, all newly mixed by Tony Visconti and backed with various non-album singles and b-sides.

Also included is the start of Bowie’s post-Berlin life – 1980’s more commercially savvy Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) – as well as, for the first time on CD, 1982’s Baal EP and a 128-page hardback book featuring contributions from Anton Corbijn, Helmut Newton, Andrew Kent and others.
