New dates in Glasgow and London have been added to LCD Soundsystem‘s September European tour.
James Murphy hits the UK for two nights at the Warehouse Project in Manchester on September 16th and 17th, and now also has two shows apiece coming up at Glasgow Barrowlands and the Alexandra Palace in London thanks to the newly added gigs.
These support the band’s new album which is due after the late-2015 restart and notice of its completion last month. “Hello humans,” Murphy wrote on Facebook.
“This is just a note to say that we’re done with the record. Like, totally done with the music and mixing. Just some art stuff to finish, but it’s been mastered already and the lacquers are winging their way to the pressing plant (which is, I think, where they’ll make the mothers and stampers, etc).”
“I’ve been wrangling the fastest route between final mix and record release for the past few weeks so that there isn’t such a lag, and I think it’ll be soon.”
