Noel Gallagher handed a very rare live outing to his Chasing Yesterday album track While The Song Remains The Same during an intimate acoustic gig in London yesterday.

Gallagher was performing for Metropolis Studios, and also aired Broken Arrow from his 2011 self-titled solo debut. Scattered in amongst these were performances of the much more regularly spotted Everybody’s On The Run, Supersonic, Listen Up, Riverman, Half The World Away, Wonderwall, What A Life and Don’t Look Back In Anger according to a fanpost on Instagram (below).

The former Oasis songwriter soon embarks on a tour around Europe supporting U2, and is expecting to release his next solo record in November as the deadline which he discussed with Steve Lamacq during an interview on BBC 6Music last year fast approaches. “I think we’re into the home straight now,” he said.

“I’ve been given the deadline which is to have everything finished – mastered, artwork, videos, the lot – done by the time I go to Glastonbury in June.”
