Richard Ashcroft has revealed the acts who’ll be supporting his outdoor show in Manchester this summer.
Ashcroft is a part of Sounds Of The City at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on June 30th, where Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and The Sherlocks are going to be backing him up. It appears to end any suggestion that Liam Gallagher could’ve been invited along to the day’s activities, but Ashcroft has nevertheless told Radio X he’ll be playing a gig with the former Oasis frontman at some point during 2017: “I played a show with Noel a few months ago and I’m playing with Liam later in the year.”
Eyes instead then on the other confirmed UK dates for Ashcroft, which include arena shows in Glasgow, Birminghan and Leeds next month.
