Popular Music, the debut album from LIFE, has been confirmed for release on May 26th.
“’Popular Music’ sounds like panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of sh***ing it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper,” says Mez Sanders-Green.
“It’s an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they’re getting f***ed and there’s a lot of people getting f***ed right now.”
The new single In Your Hands is giving us an idea of what will be on show, more highly charged goodness after the band released one of Live4ever’s favourite tracks of 2016 in the form of Rare Boots. The album was produced and mixed by Ian Dowling at The Fish Factory in London.
Life are on tour in the UK next month and play Great Escape in May.
