Noel Gallagher has been confirmed as the support for the European leg of U2‘s summer tour which will celebrate thirty years of their Joshua Tree album.
The tour starts in North America where support is provided by Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and One Republic before Gallagher joins the party in July for stadium shows in cities such as London, Dublin and Paris – he’s told U2.com:
“It will be both a pleasure and an honour to play my part in what still remains the greatest show on earth.”
