A third and final show at the Alexandra Palace in London has been added to The Maccabees‘ farewell UK tour.

After arranging a second night at the Manchester Apollo just a few days ago, the band have now expanded the 2017 tour a touch more. Those with tickets for the July 1st gig in London can rest easy though, that will still be the very last Maccabees gig with this new show booked for June 29th. Felix White says:

“We’re planning on these final shows being a huge celebration, thank you and goodbye to 14 years of writing, recording, playing and touring together.”

The Maccabees announced their split after 14 years back in August via a goodbye letter to fans which began:

“After 14 years as a band we have decided to call it a day. The decision has obviously been an incredibly difficult one, given that The Maccabees has been such a huge part of our lives until now. We are very proud to be able to go out on our own terms, at our creative peak and off the back of the best and biggest shows we have ever done.”

2017 tour dates:

JUNE
27, 28 – Manchester, O2 Apollo
29, 30 – London, Alexandra Palace

JULY
1 – London, Alexandra Palace
