“It’s always great to perform on the same stage as a band you admire and respect,” James bassist Jim Glennie said of the show. This is one of those occasions. It’s a fantastic double bill, if I say so myself.”

“As the great Peter Rudge puts it, ‘One plus one plus one equals three’.”

“The Charlatans and James have the best fans in the world. Both bands have been talking for a while, hoping to get something sorted,” Tim Burgess added. “We’re so pleased this is happening. It’s going to be a big day.”

James were playing the show having released their Girl At The End Of The World album earlier this year, while The Charlatans won’t be wanting to let go of their 2015 record Modern Nature anytime soon – one of the best received records of their career.
