Despite the Radiohead rumours which first gathered pace last week, went Usain Bolt on Wednesday and were officially confirmed yesterday, the other two tips for Glastonbury 2017 from efestivals have been dismissed by co-organiser Emily Eavis.

The site was spot on then when it named Radiohead, albeit for the wrong day (they’ll play Friday not Saturday), and ‘strongly believed’ the Stone Roses would be joining them, less confidently picking Daft Punk as the third headline act for 2017.

However, when speaking to NME, Eavis said there will be no more major announcements ‘for a while’, but did rule those two out.

“There’s no more announcements now for a while, but I will tell you the other two that have been rumoured aren’t happening,” she confirmed.

“There was a news story that said Daft Punk and Stone Roses. That’s not true. I don’t know where that came from.”
