Electric Fields will return to the British festival calendar on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd September next year.

“This year’s Electric Fields was everything we hoped it would be when we decided to expand to two days, and in truth it surpassed our expectations,” co-founder Nick Roberts reflects. “It was quite honestly the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at a festival.”

“We can’t wait to reveal our 2017 line-up and welcome everyone to our beautiful home at Drumlanrig Castle once again.”

Drumlanrig Castle in Dumfries & Galloway hosted The Charlatans and Primal Scream as headliners this year, the latter squeezing in the festival date in after earlier being forced to cancel a number of other summer commitments as Bobby Gillespie recovered from an on-stage accident in Sweden.

They’re now due for a full tour of the UK starting at the Edinburgh Usher Hall on November 21st.
