The Magnetic Fields‘ 1999 three-hour odyssey ‘69 Love Songs‘ is to be reissued on October 28th.
Stephin Merritt‘s bold achievement will now be available in a box-set containing six 10” vinyls, a 24-page colour booklet with liner notes by Daniel Handler and a track-by-track commentary with Merritt, all limited to 1000 copies.
Numerous collaborations, with the likes of Claudia Gonson, John Woo and Sam Davol feature on the record, while 24 of the songs have guest vocals.
