Savages will be at the Brixton Academy on November 25th for the biggest headline London gig of their career so far.

Tickets go on sale this coming Friday for the gig as the band prepares to compete for the Best Difficult Second Album gong at the AIM Independent Music Awards early next month with Daughter, Fat White Family, Melt Yourself Down and Money, and the Mercury Music Prize on September 15th.

We named ‘Adore Life‘ as one of our records of the year so far after the review stated:

“Savages aren’t, of course, the first outfit unafraid to find affirmational joy in life’s more primeval impulses, but ‘Adore Life’s greatest moment of candour is in the half-title track ‘Adore‘, a bipolar exploration of an existence in which the mundane has been jettisoned and only the white knuckles of pure emotion that are left is vital.”
