Pink Floyd confirm more vinyl album releases

Pink Floyd

Atom Heart Mother’, ‘Meddle’ and ‘Obscured By Clouds’ are to be re-released on vinyl on September 23rd.

This batch follows a similar release of Pink Floyd‘s first four studio albums in June, and will help retell the story of the band’s move from the psychedelic dominant Syd Barrett era to their blockbuster progressive rock incarnation which began in earnest with ‘Atom Heart Mother’, continued on ‘Meddle’ and of course found its peak at ‘Dark Side Of The Moon‘.

It’s a period of the band’s life which will be looked back on more thoroughly with the ‘Early Years 1965-1972‘ box-set; a multi-platform offering totaling 12 hours of audio and 15 hours of video across 130 tracks that’s out on November 11th.

It’s divided into six volumes, some of those being ‘Cambridge St/ation’, focusing on the Syd Barrett-era from 1965-1967, and ‘Devi/ation’ focusing on the band’s first progressive moves which we touched on earlier.
