‘Kid A’ and ‘Amnesiac’ will take the vinyl reissues of Radiohead‘s back catalogue up to but not including the present day and this year’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool‘.
The 2000 and 2001 albums will each be available on the heavyweight double 12” vinyl format for the first time from October 14th, completing a reissue series which has already taken in ‘Pablo Honey’, ‘The Bends’, ‘OK Computer’, ‘Hail To The Thief’, ‘In Rainbows’ and ‘The King Of Limbs’.
Meanwhile, after completing Summersonic Festival appearances in Osaka and Tokyo last weekend Radiohead are due back out on the road in September when they’ll be a part of the German leg of Lollapalooza.
Their current schedule behind ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ is booked to wrap up in Mexico City on October 3rd, ending a tour which brought the band to the UK for a run of gigs at the London Roundhouse in May.
