During the first week of release for their new album ‘Ocean By Ocean‘, The Boxer Rebellion are out on the road in the UK and played London’s Olso venue last night (May 3rd). Live4ever’s Andy Crossland has the evening’s best bits.

The album is the band’s first with new guitarist Andrew Smith, and was previewed with first single ‘Big Ideas‘ earlier this year, of which frontman Nathan Nicholson said:




“It’s about meeting someone special but at the wrong time in your life. You feel lucky to have met them but also, because of the bad timing, like you have the very worst kind of luck.”

The touring continues in Bristol tonight and moves on to mainland Europe from May 8th via a stop in Paris.
