Two UK radio stations spent the Easter weekend counting down their listeners’ favourite albums and tracks, with Pink Floyd and Oasis coming out on top.

Absolute Radio conducted a poll to find the Greatest Album Of All Time – a novel idea we’re sure you’ll agree – as Pink Floyd’s classic ‘Dark Side Of The Moon‘ collected the most votes, just ahead of Fleetwood Mac‘s ‘Rumours‘.

Oasis were at #12 and #13 respectively with ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?‘ and ‘Definitely Maybe‘, and the Gallagher brothers were prominent too, to say the least, on Radio X’s own listener vote which wanted the Best British Song ever.

The Manchester band took the top four spots thanks largely to tunes from that aforementioned 1995 LP, while David Bowie had two songs in the Top 10.
