Jake Bugg and The 1975 will be at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Exeter this coming May.
The two acts are new on the bill for Powderham Castle on May 28th and join the likes of Coldplay, Ellie Goulding and Bring Me The Horizon.
Both are concentrating on new albums with The 1975 looking all set to go to number one in the UK this week thanks to ‘I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It‘, while Jake Bugg will be hoping for similar success when he releases ‘On My One‘ in June.
“In a lot of ways it sums up this record because it mainly has been me on my own,” he’s said of the LP. “I saw this as the logical next step in my development as a songwriter. It was a challenge but something I felt I had to do.”
