Frightened Rabbit will play a few UK shows shortly after the release of their new album ‘Painting Of a Panic Attack‘ on April 8th.
The band subsequently plays the Manchester Academy 2 on April 12th, the Alhambra in Dunfermline a day later, and finally a show at London’s St. John Hackney Church on April 14th. A pre-sale opens today (February 24th), the general sale follows on February 26th.
Frightened Rabbit recorded their new album with producer Aaron Dessner of The National. It will be the first release by the band since the departure of guitarist and keyboard player Gordon Skene.
“We are sad to announce that Gordon is no longer a member of Frightened Rabbit,” they said on Facebook in March 2014. “For 3 years he was a vital part of the band and his contribution to Pedestrian Verse was massive in making what we believe to be our best record yet.”
