Milburn, the band borne out of the same primordial Sheffield soup which also produced the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and Reverend & The Makers, have rubber-stamped their return with news of two hometown gigs.
The eight years since their split haven’t dampened interest in Joe Carnall, Louis Carnall, Tom Rowley and Joe Green, and they’ll thus be back on April 29th and 30th with shows at the O2 Academy in Sheffield.
Tickets are on sale from Friday, January 29th.
Milburn released their debut album ‘Well Well Well‘ in October 2006, right in the middle of a commercial boom being enjoyed by many guitar bands at the time. Yet whilst breaking the UK’s Top 40, it failed to have the same impact as some of those contemporaries, and the break-up came not long after the release of follow-up ‘These Are The Facts‘ in the September of 2007.
