Joanna Newsom will play UK and Irish shows next year as part of a European tour which is due to open in Brussels on February 24th 2016.
Newsom has Liverpool, Glasgow and Dublin on the tour diary in support of her recent ‘Divers‘ album, which brought a five year gap between studio records to an end in October. It was produced by Steve Albini and Noah Georgesonm, with guest contributions from Nico Muhly, Ryan Francesconi and Dave Longstreth.
“Further along and down the road apiece from where she took her leave of us, Joanna Newsom plays on,” a statement on her label’s website stated. “Breathe deep and equalize your today-ears to the new world of Divers.”
