Girl Band add more 2016 European shows

Girl Band have scheduled more European shows around the UK tour they announced last month for early 2016.

In October, the band called off the remainder of their 2015 touring plans citing ‘health issues’, but are seemingly raring to go next year with more dates booked for January and April.

Girl Band released their roaring, idiosyncratic debut album ‘Holding Hands With Jamie‘ earlier this year, of which our review reads:

“Describing something as amorphous, as melodically slender, as Girl Band has its perils. They don’t quite fit into grunge, punk, goth or rock. And neither do they seem to appreciate being labelled (the Nirvana comparison irking most).”

“Nor should they have to be given an identity. But we’ll go on trying to and ‘Holding Hands With Jamie’ is possibly as new and fresh a noise as there is today.”
