Coldplay fail to remove Adele from number one on UK Album Chart

First week sales of over 200,000 haven’t been enough for Coldplay to displace Adele from the top of the UK Album Chart.

It means ‘A Head Full Of Dreams‘ is the first Coldplay record not to debut at number one in the UK, ending a run which stretches back to 2000’s ‘Parachutes‘.




Pretty much the rest of the Top 20 is made up of underwhelming festive stocking fillers, such as Michael Buble, Kylie Minogue, Alexander Arm…zzzz.
