Cage The Elephant have shared ‘Too Late To Say Goodbye‘ from their new album ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty‘ ahead of its release on December 18th. Have a watch below.
‘Tell Me I’m Pretty‘ was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and mixed by Tom Elmhirst at Easy Eye Sound studios in Nashville, Tennessee as the band made a conscious effort to capture the energy of their live shows on record. Thus, most songs were finished in one take. “With this record, we wanted to be more transparent,” said lead singer Matt Shultz.
“We wanted to capture the sentiment of each song, and whatever emotional response it provoked, to be really honest to that.”
Cage The Elephant tour the UK next February, beginning in Bristol and moving on to London, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Wakefield and Manchester before a tour of mainland Europe towards the end of the month.
