Public Image Ltd. are back with the new album ‘What The World Needs Now…‘ and played the Manchester Academy on Saturday night (September 19th) at the start of a UK tour. Live4ever’s Gary Mather was there to capture the action.

‘What The World Needs Now…‘was released on September 4th, following 2012’s ‘This Is PiL‘. It was self-funded and recorded at the Cotswolds studios of Steve Winwood. The UK tour continues tomorrow night in York and takes John Lydon and co. to Coventry, Bristol, Buckley, Reading, Bexhill, Norwich, London, Frome and Southampton before European dates begin in October.
