Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hasall and Gary Powell returned to the site of their first live reunion in 2010 armed as then with an arsenal of modern classics from their first two studio albums, yet this time were also able to air a modest smattering of new material along side the old favourites.
This thanks to the current reunion’s growth into something far more substantial than the aforementioned return of five years ago; a comeback for British Summer Time 2014 ultimately spawned more European festival appearances and full headline tours as the possibility of a third album also homed into view, and the unlikely follow-up to 2004’s ‘The Libertines‘ is now due for release later this month.
