Teenage Time Killers, the supergroup featuring pretty much anyone who’s anyone in the world of US alternative rock, is streaming debut album ‘Greatest Hits Vol. 1‘ over on the New York Times website.
While the group consists of the likes of Dave Grohl and Pat Smear from the Foo Fighters, former Queens Of The Stone Age bass player Nick Oliveri, Slipknot growler Corey Taylor and Alkaline Trio‘s Matt Skiba, it was first initiated by Corrosion Of Conformity‘s Reed Mullin, who previously explained how it grew into the current beast from something much more subtle.
“We had all these other folks that want to participate,” he told New York radio station WFMU. “It’s a very good mixture of old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff. People are going to be pleasantly surprised. It’s pretty cool.”
Also involved are Dead Kennedys‘ Jello Biafra, Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe, Black Flag‘s Keith Morris, Max Cavalera, Neil Fallon and Lee Ving.
