More of Everything Everything‘s superb 2015 album ‘Get To Heaven‘ will be unleashed in September.
New single ‘Spring / Sun / Winter/ Dread‘ is out on September 4th as the third track taken from the band’s latest LP which, according to frontman Jonathan Higgs, bucks the current trend by addressing some serious issues head on.
“I wanted to make something that makes you get angry and want to do something about it, because that’s how I was feeling,” he previously told NME.
“Don’t quiz me on the politics of Syria or Ukraine, I don’t fucking know, but I do know it makes me feel wretched and confused and anxious without having to know who’s right and who’s wrong. It’s trying to inhabit these people who do this stuff – like how would I feel if I was Muslim, or a rejected Hollywood teen like that Rodger kid.”
As previously reported on Live4ever, Everything Everything tour the UK in November, beginning at the Cardiff Great Hall.
