Queens Of The Stone Age, System Of a Down and Faith No More are on course for this year’s Rock In Rio event, one of the world’s largest festivals which can attract crowds is excess of one million.
The just announced supergroup containing Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and frustrated-rock-star-stuck-in-Hollywood Johnny Depp – The Hollywood Vampires – is also on the line-up, as are Katy Perry, Slipknot and John Legend.
Rock in Rio takes place over the weekends of September 18th-20th and 24th–27th in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Tickets are about to go on sale through the event’s official website.
Joining Rock In Rio in May will be its first North American sister-event, due to be held in Las Vegas. Acts booked for this inaugural occasion include Metallica, Taylor Swift, Deftones, No Doubt, John Legend, Sam Smith and Empire Of The Sun.
