Scroll down to check out the latest track due to feature on Zola Jesus‘ ‘Taiga‘ album, which is released next month.
The premiere of ‘Go (Blank Sea)’ arrives hot on the heels of ‘Dangerous Days’ as Nika Roza Danilova prepares to release her latest album through Mute Records on October 7th after the soothing virtues of 2011’s ‘Conatus‘ were re-imagined around a year ago with ‘Versions‘.
“For me, it feels like my true debut, because it is the first time I have felt so open and liberated,” Nika Roza Danilova has previously said ‘Taiga’.
“Taiga is the Russian name for the boreal forest. For me it feels very alive, very expansive. It represents a feral, untapped world that could happily exist without us. There are taiga forests in Northern Wisconsin where I was raised, and also in Russia where my ancestors are from, so it also feels very native.”
