Alt-J and Aphex Twin are currently slugging it out for the UK’s new number one album, according to the official midweek update.

Alt-J are leading the way with their second studio LP ‘This Is All Yours‘, immediately ahead of Aphex Twin and Leonard Cohen. Another new entry inside the Top 10 is also on the way for Joe Bonamassa, while Royal Blood are set to hold on to a Top 20 place with their self-titled debut album.

“It should be noted this is not all thoughtful soundscapes, or wistful moments, there are some truly stunning tracks,” Live4ever’s ‘This Is All Yours’ review concludes.

“Obviously there are moments of dark menace that hit hard, but at other points the record is playful and witty, done with the lightest of touches, and this brilliant flexing encapsulates just how wonderful the album as a whole is. This is everything a second album should be, because it’s all the things the first told us it could be.”
