Damon Albarn airs Blur, Gorillaz tracks during London gig

Damon Albarn revisited most of his varied musical career during a live return in London last night (April 30th), reports NME.

The performance at the Rivoli Ballroom saw Albarn air Blur, Gorillaz, The Good, The Bad and The Queen and Rocket Juice & The Moon tracks along side material from debut solo album ‘Everyday Robots‘ with his new backing band The Heavy Seas, which consists of guitarist Seye, drummer Pauli The PSM, bassist Jeff Wootton and Mike Smith on keyboards.




Blur highlights included performances of ‘Out Of Time‘ and set close ‘This Is a Low‘, while rapper Kano guested for an airing of the Gorillaz favourite ‘Clint Eastwood‘.

‘Everyday Robots’ was released this week and is on course for a strong debut on the UK Album Chart.
