‘Money‘ is to become the first single proper taken from Peace‘s upcoming second album when it is released on Columbia Records on June 9th. It has also had an official video premiered which can viewed in full on Live4ever by clicking on the snapshot below.
“I wrote Money at some point last year whilst trying to write a song about anything but myself,” frontman Harry Koisser explains. “I realised I wasn’t born into it & I still don’t have it & as a song it just seemed to work. It’s not negative, bitter or whingey. I just feel like this year I got a ticket to the circus & I’m trying to decide if I’m a lion or a clown.”
The video was directed by Ninian Doff and features the band making a short but notable cameo dressed as your stereotypical Wall Street bankers.
Peace have a packed diary of summer festival bookings to come, and also embark on their own headline tour of the UK next month.
