Radkey are to release a special, limited edition cassette recording of their gig at the 100 Club in London earlier this month – described as ‘one of the coolest nights of our entire lives’ – for Record Store Day.

“The 100 Club show in London was amazing, one of the coolest nights of our entire lives,” explains the band’s Isaiah Radke. “So instead of making the obligatory 7” for Record Store Day, we wanted to do something special and put the show on a limited cassette with artwork from London skateboarder/illustrator Jack Hamilton. Selling out such a legendary place was a really big deal to us. The crowd was falling all over the stage so you can kinda hear Dee get hit by the mic and stuff!”

Entitled ‘9 Lives At The 100 Club‘, the album is restricted to just 500 copies and will be released on April 19th. It features live versions of tracks taken from Radkey’s ‘Cat & Mouse‘ and ‘Devil Fruit‘ EPs, as well as covers of the Misfits‘ ‘Last Caress‘ and their latest single ‘Feed My Brain‘.

Live4ever’s Andy Crossland was in attendance at the 100 Club gig, check out our full live gallery right here.
