Both Beck and Reverend & The Makers are set for high new entries on the UK Album Chart according to the midweek update.

Latest figures have Beck’s ‘Morning Phase’ – described as a ‘companion piece of sorts’ to his 2002 effort ‘Sea Change‘ – at number one immediately ahead of Bastille‘s ‘Bad Blood‘ and Arctic Monkeys‘ ‘AM‘, both of which are enjoying a boost in interest following last week’s Brit Awards.

Elsewhere, Reverend & The Makers’ new LP ‘Thirtytwo‘ is at #9 on the midweeks as it looks set to surpass its immediate predecessor ‘@Reverend_Makers’. Wild Beasts, one place ahead, are also doing well with ‘Present Tense‘.

The official album chart will be confirmed this coming Sunday (March 2nd).
