This year’s Christmas Tree Sessions event will be led by Paul Weller and Gaz Coombes when the charity gig is held in London next month.
The news comes with a promise of Weller performing ‘a select number of his classic tracks’ while audience members are encouraged to ‘wear their best festive sweaters to support Christmas Jumper Day’ when the show takes place for the Save The Children charity at the Union Chapel in London on December 5th.
Also performing on the night are Lanterns On The Lake, The Moons and Will Heard, who will take to the stage backed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra. Comedians Chris Addison, Dom Joly and Peter Serafinowicz add to the evening’s entertainment, which has been curated by BBC Radio 6Music DJ Lauren Laverne.
All proceeds raised on the night will go towards the Syria Crisis Appeal. More information and ticket details can be found at savethechildren.org.uk.
