The Rolling Stones are plotting more live shows for 2014, guitarist Ronnie Wood has apparently told The Sun.
Just under a year ago, the legendary band began a series of live concerts in celebration of their 50th anniversary – a series which stretched into this summer for festival appearances at Glastonbury and Hyde Park.
And The Sun claims Ronnie Wood has said himself, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts will get back together ‘in February’ for a fresh round of gigs.
“While the big wheel is rolling we are going to capture it before it stops totally,” he is quoted as saying. “Everybody had a smile on their face, which was brilliant.”
The Rolling Stones are remembering their return to Hyde Park this year for the inaugural British Summertime Festival with a DVD release entitled Sweet Summer Sun on November 11th. An edited portion of the concert is set to be shown on the BBC next week.
