Kings Of Leon handed a live debut to another brand new track during their appearance at the Governor’s Ball in New York during the weekend.
Having already unveiled ‘Always The Same‘ during their gig at the Bottle Rock Music & Arts festival in California last month, the Followill clan aired ‘Super Soaker‘ on Saturday night (June 8th) – fan footage can be viewed below.
Kings Of Leon recently confirmed their first album since 2011’s ‘Come Around Sundown‘ is to be entitled ‘Mechanical Bull‘, and is pencilled in for release on September 24th.
Speaking to NME recently, the group’s bass player Jared Followill described the record as harking back to the sound of their debut ‘Youth & Young Manhood‘. “I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I’m amazed how youthful it sounds,” he said. “It’s like a mix of ‘Youth & Young Manhood’ and ‘Because Of The Times’.”
