Kings Of Leon have been confirmed as headliners for the 2013 V Festival, and will top the bill this coming August along side popstar Beyonce.
The US band’s headline spot is set to arrive shortly after a run of UK arena dates, and also follows previously announced appearances at various European festivals during the course of the summer as they prepare to release a sixth studio album at some stage this year.
V Festival takes place over the weekend of August 17th-18th on alternate days at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire, and has additionally confirmed (deep breath):
Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, Stereophonics, The Courteeners, The Script, Emeli Sandé, Calvin Harris, Beady Eye, Jessie J, Basement Jaxx, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, James, Rita Ora, Jason Mraz, Fun., Labrinth, Ellie Goulding, Kendrick Lamar, Of Monsters And Men, Maverick Sabre, Travis, Jessie Ware, Maximo Park, Rudimental, James Arthur, Deacon Blue, Little Mix, Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis, Gabrielle Aplin and Laura Mvula.
Tickets go on sale from March 1st.
