Video: Mumford & Sons premiere ‘I Will Wait’

Mumford & Sons have premiered the video for ‘I Will Wait‘ – the first single to be taken from their forthcoming second album ‘Babel‘. The promo is available through the band’s VEVO channel on YouTube, and can be viewed below.

The video for ‘I Will Wait’ was filmed at Red Rocks in Colarado late last month, where Mumford & Sons were playing as part of their Gentlemen Of The Road tour.

‘Babel’ will be released on September 24th, and is likely to fly off the shelves following the runaway success of the folk group’s 2009 debut ‘Sigh No More‘. “We are more than excited to release ‘Babel’ into the world,” the band said in a statement when announcing the details of the new album back in July.  “We had started writing new songs well before we got into the studio to record. At first, we peeled ourselves off the road quite reluctantly.”

“We love playing live, obviously, but it had also become an important part of our creative process, we had been writing and rehearsing in soundchecks, and sort of ‘road-testing’ new songs on our very gracious audiences. But then we fell in love with recording again. The album started to come together, and with the help of Markus Dravs once more (and engineer Robin Baynton), we started to relish the challenge of making this album.”
