Video: Tame Impala release second album trailer

Tame Impala have issued a trailer for their new album ‘Lonerism‘ which can be viewed via YouTube below.

Due out later this year, ‘Lonerism’ is the follow-up to the Australian group’s sublime 2010 debut ‘Innerspeaker‘, which in turn had followed a series of EP and single releases beginning in 2008.

Led principally by Kevin Parker, since the release of ‘Innerspeaker’ other members of Tame Impala have formed the band Pond, which drummer Jay Watson has told NME will have no problem existing along side their main project. “I don’t see any reason why we can’t co-exist, we’ve been doing it for years anyway,” he has said. “We’re both really different bands.”

In addition, Tame Impala will hit the road in the UK later this year for three live dates. First up will be a headline show at the Brixton Academy in London on October 30th, with shows at the Manchester HMV Ritz and Sheffield Leadmill also due on the 1st and 2nd of November respectively.
