Police recover Axl Rose’s stolen jewellery

gunsnrosesFrench police have arrested a woman after over $200,000 (£130,000) worth of jewellery was stolen from Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose in Paris on June 5th.

According to reports, the woman voluntarily returned the jewellery to a police station after news broke of the theft, claiming that she does not know how she left a Parisian party with the necklaces in her possession, and was then arrested.

Axl Rose was at the private gathering after his band’s gig at the French capital’s Bercy Stadium when the theft of three gold-and-diamond necklaces took place, with a spokesman explaining that Axl was not wearing the jewellery at the time, but was ‘fuming” after being robbed.

Guns N Roses were in Paris following the completion of their eventful UK arena tour last week. More late starts caused problems in Manchester and London, but the band were on top form when Live4ever was in attendance at the Glasgow SECC – read the review here.
