The Hives have debuted the video for their comeback single ‘Go Right Ahead‘, which can be viewed below.
The track is the first official taster to be taken from their forthcoming new album ‘Lex Hives‘ which will be released on June 5th and is set to be the Swedish band’s first since 2007’s ‘Black And White Hives‘.
“There’s no formula, but it definitely sounds like The Hives,” frontman Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist recently told NME on the direction of their new album. “Every good band there is has a certain sound. There are a few songs that couldn’t have been on any of other Hives album, that are sort of a departure, but I’d say that kind of happened on the last time album too. But I’d also say that they couldn’t have been on any other album by anybody else either.”
